BELLE PLAINE -- Funeral services were held for Thomas B. Craft, who was injured when he fell from a ladder while working at the new Cudahy stockyards here Saturday. He died at a local hospital.
The services were conducted by Rev. J.B. Ackman, pastor of the Methodist Church. Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Craft was born in Pennsylvania in 1849 and at the time of his death was in his eightieth year. He had been a resident of Belle Plaine for the last thirty-five years.
He is survived by five children, Alex Craft, Sioux City, Earl Craft, Clinton, Mrs. Jessie Gord, Ames, Jason Craft, California, and Mrs. Hazel Lepley, Woodward; three brothers, Oliver, Coon Rapids, and William and Charles of Des Moines.
