Born January 21, 1938 in Martinsburg, she was the daughter of the late James Calvin Redman, Sr., and Rosie Lee Brown Redman.
She was employed by the Clarion Hotel and retired from the VA Medical Center.
She was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist.
Mrs. McCreath was a member of the Emblem Club of the Elks.
She is survived by two sons, Charles "Chuck" Redman and fiancée, Trina Hoover, and James "Lug" Redman and wife, Betty, all of Martinsburg; seven grandchildren, Dominick Berry, Charles Redman, II, Natasha Redman, Brittany Redman, Enjola Hicks, Shawnta Redman and Tisha Kidrick; two brothers, Lewis and Lawrence Redman, both of Martinsburg; one sister, Frances Bullett, of Martinsburg; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six brothers, William (her twin) Donald, Robert, David, James, Charles and John Redman; two sisters, Mary Lynch and Ann L. Redman.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, February 22, 2010, at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church with Pastor Ed Hall officiating. Interment will be held at Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
