Myrtle Frances Shannon Middleton, 86, of Beech Grove, Ind., formerly of Danville, died Monday, Jan 4 2010.
Born Nov. 29, 1923, in Boyle County, she was a daughter of the late Bill and Faye Brown Shannon. She ran a mini-home for state patients.
Survivors include her son, Bobby Joe Middleton of Stanford; a sister, Jane Emma Dewitt of Boggstown, Ind.; and three grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Mary Frances Middleton; a brother; and three sisters.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Elder Cemetery.
