Mt. Pleasant: Burt Seely passed away Pleasant Grove, Jan. 24, 2007.

Born Oct. 18, 1927 in Mt. Pleasant, UT to Benjamin Frank and Minnie Belle Christensen Seely.

He was a World War II veteran. Married Maxine Maynard on June 7, 1952, and later solemnized on March 30, 1956 in the Salt Lake Temple.

Burt was a dairy farmer in Mt. Pleasant, UT.

Survived by eight children, Steven (Gayle) Seely, Mt. Pleasant, Debra (Ralph) Levin, Pleasant Grove, Ted (Tena) Seely, Todd (Connie) Seely, Donald (Karen) Seely, Linda (Brent) Taylor all of Mt. Pleasant, Julie (Brent) Sorensen of Pleasant Grove, Bonnie (Spencer) Swapp of Santa Clara; sisters, Catherine (Vernon) Guymon, N. Salt Lake and Louise (Lee) Smith, Brownsville, OR; 43 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his loving wife Maxine, son, Dennis, parents, two brothers and two sisters and two grandsons.

Funeral Services Monday Jan. 29, 2007 in the Mt. Pleasant N. Stake Center (461 N. 300 W.) at 11:00 a.m.

Viewing Sunday 6-8 p.m. at Rasmussen Mortuary (96 N. 100 W.) in Mt. Pleasant, UT & Monday from 9:30-10:30 prior to services at the church.

Interment in the Mt. Pleasant City Cemetery.
