Anna Marie Culvey of Grove died Sunday, Feb. 28, 2010, in Grove.
She was 85.
Mrs. Culvey was born April 6, 1924, in Harrah to George W. and Ollie Mae (Montgomery) Skorkowsky.
She graduated as the Salutatorian of the Harrah High School class of 1942 and attended Central State University.
She spent the majority of her life in Porter and Miami before settling in Grove.
She and her husband were dairy farmers.
She was a devout Baptist and Sunday school teacher. She was a homemaker.
She married Everett S. Culvey on Jan. 3, 1943, in Guthrie. He preceded her in death.
She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Evetta Ann; her parents, and two brothers, Homer and Robert Skorkowsky.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Rose Marie and Dan Gurney of Paris, Texas; three sons and daughters-in-law, Alan and Anna Culvey of Hugo, Pat and Linda Culvey of Jay and Mike Culvey of Hugo, five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel in Harrah. The Rev. Gary Eubanks will officiate.
Interment will follow at Memory Lane Cemetery in Harrah.
Services are under the direction of Smith-Parks Funeral Service in Harrah.
