Doctors Release Autopsy Report On R. E. Waggoner.
Edward O. Fox, M. D., prosecutor and Thomas F. Dilday, Jr., M. D., Deputy State Medical Examiner, have released the autopsy report on R. E. Waggoner who was found dead in a field at his home recently.
According to the doctors the pathologic examination showed a passive congestion of the lungs. They summarized their report as evidence of congestive heart failure with chronic passive congestion of the lungs on microscopic examination. There is a fatty infiltration of the liver and evidence of chronic pancreatitis. The toxicological (poison) examinations are negative.
