homas Blakeney, grandson of Capt. John and son of William Blakeney. He was born in SC and moved to Newtonville, Fayette County, AL, in 1832. He was married twice: had 6 children by Sarah Roberts. Sarah died in 1861, and is buried in Old Shepherd 1 cemetery, Newtonville, AL. Then he married Martha Nivins: no issue.
