Mrs. Alpha Easterling Jones, 76, died Oct. 8, 1986, at Rankin General Hospital at Brandon. Services are 10 a.m. today at Baldwin-Enochs Funeral Home with burial in Beulah Cemetery at Polkville. Mrs. Jones was a native of Mize. She was a member of Drake Methodist Church at Flowood.
She is survived by her husband, Elbert Jones of Brandon; sons, H.D. Easterling of Pearl and Garland Easterling of Morton; daughters, Mrs. Margaret Jones and Mrs. Shirley Hodge, both of Richland, Mrs. Bessie Foster of Pearl, and Mrs. Barbara Condley and Mrs. Mattie Norman, both of Pelahatchie; sisters, Mrs. Selma Martin, Mrs. Birdie Waggoner and Mrs. Winnie Jackson, all of Morton, and Mrs. Cammie Warren of Magee; and 18 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
