Served with 215th Glider Field Artillery Battallion, Airborne Command, Fort Bragg, NC, and Camp Mackall, NC, 1943; NC State College of Agriculture and Engineering STAR and ASTP unit, Jun 1943 to March 1944; 676th Glider Field Artillery Battalion, Mar 1944 to Aug 1944, and 326th Glider Infantry Regiment, Co. A, Aug 1944 to Mar 1946, 13th Airborne Div., Camp Mackall, NC, and while overseas in Europe (ET2 CONC O), in France. The 13th Airborne was attached to the XVIIIth Airborne Corps and to the 1st Allied Airborne Army.
