Wife of Lowell Elwood Parrish

Emily L. Parrish, 90, of Bethesda, Maryland and Salt Lake City, Utah died on Wednesday, November 13, 1996.
She was the wife of the late Lowell E. Parrish, beloved mother of Jane Parrish Kinzie of Bethesda, and sister of Elsie Storey of Newcastle on Tyne, England. She arrived in the United States from England in 1921; graduated from Ogden High in 1925, and from the University of Utah in 1930. She spent many years in Girl Scout activities, including five years as executive director of the Salt Lake City Girl Scout Council. She was also a graduate of Woodbury College of Business in Los Angeles. She moved to Bethesda, Maryland in 1989 to live with her daughter.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, November 22, 1996 at 12 noon at the First Unitarian Church, 569 So. 13th East. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Emily Parrish Scholarship Fund, Communications Department, University of Utah, 304 Park Building, Salt Lake City, Utah 84112.
