Bertha D. Pea, 76, of Liberty, formerly of Connersville, passed away on November 6, 2006 at Americare of Liberty. Born on February 23, 1930 in Elizabethton, Tennessee, she is the daughter of the late Jacob and Effie Oliver. She had worked at Linne's Bakery for 30 years and worked as a cook at Jane's Restaurant and Hometown Restaurant. In her leisure time she enjoyed playing bingo. She is survived by a daughter and son in law, Sue and Brett Ferguson of Connersville; four sons and daughters in law, David and Sharon Pea of College Corner, IN, Charles and Debra Pea of Connersville, Rick and Sheila Pea of Texas and Curtis and Irene Pea of Miami, Florida; four brothers, John, Joe, Wayne and Jimmy Oliver; four sisters, Hazel, Sarah, Faye, and Oney; 13 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband John Pea who passed away in 1989, an infant daughter, Donna Joann Pea; a brother Paul Oliver and two sisters, Marie and Elsie. Funeral services will be on Friday November 10, at 1 pm at Urban Winkler Funeral Home. Burial will be in Dale Cemetery. Friends and family may call on Thursday evening from 6-8 pm.
