She is survived by her daughter, Tammela Jo Sherrod-Lewright and husband, Joseph Lewright of Austin; her son, Timothy Sherrod and wife, Emilie Sherrod of Dallas, Texas; one grandchild, Jade Taylor Lewright; her mother, Myrtle Locklin of Lexington, Texas; one sister, Nell Sherrill and her husband, David Sherrill of Houston, Texas; two nieces and two nehews; and her life mate and faithful companion, David Drapela of Austin.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Wiladene Meyer of McDade, Texas, and her father, Bill Locklin of Lexington, Texas.
Services will be held at Lexington United Methodist church on Sunday, October 8, 1995, at 2:00 p.m. in Lexington, Texas. Burial will be in the Lexington Cemetery. Her body will lie in state at Wilke-Amey-Clay Funeral Home in Austin, Texas, on Saturday, October 7, 1995.
Jodi was 52 years old. She was greatly loved and will be missed by her many friends and family.
