Peter Alfred Thomsen, 89, of Paul, Idaho, passed away Sunday, Feb. 28, 2010, at his home.
He was born Aug. 16, 1920 in Eight Mile, Idaho to Peter Thomsen and Harriet Amelia Skinner Thomsen. He married Clifrine Katherine Miller in Paul on June 28, 1942. She passed away in 2000.
He is survived by his eight children, Gayla Haug of McNeal, Arizona, Beverly (Les) Gates of Janesville, Wisconsin, Sharon (Steve) Harris of Paul, Sherry (Bart) Montgomery of Rupert, Jerry (Terri) Thomsen of Burley, Debbie (Scott) Drussel of Nampa, Jana Thomsen of Paul and Phil Thomsen of Phoenix, Arizona; 25 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Jane Jenkins of Orem, Utah and one brother, Macks Thomsen of Battle Mountain, Nevada.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Ingeburg West and Mellie Humphreys and his brother, Taft Thomsen.
