Jack L. Duggins, 72, of 2712 W. Overhill Road died at 8:10 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 11, 1996, at Rosewood Care Center in Peoria. He was born April 28, 1923, in Beardstown to James H. and Lena Murphy Duggins. Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Wilbur (Pat) Jenkins of Bartonville, Mrs. Gene (Helen) Hill and Eda Maher, both of Peoria; and several nieces and nephews. A 1950 graduate of Bradley University and a graduate of Wisconsin School of Banking, he was an executive vice president at the former Prospect Bank for many years. A World War II Army veteran, he was a member of Joseph Robbins Masonic Lodge 930, AF&AM; Scottish Rite Bodies, Valley of Peoria; and Mohammed Temple Shrine. He was a member of Manual Alumni Class of January 1941 and served on the executive committee of the Manual Alumni Board. He was a member of and past president of Zion Lutheran Church in Peoria. He also was a member of Peoria Cursillo Community. He was a former treasurer of the Northern Conference of the Central-Southern Illinois Senate of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at his church. The Rev. Steven P. Tibbetts will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel and one- half hour before services at the church. Burial will be in St. John Lutheran Church Cemetery in Bartonville.
