Parra: Maria Ysaura Parra, 89, died March 25 in Central. She was born July 28, 1892 in Dwyer, N.M., the daughter of Madedonio and Severa Guerra Torres and resided in this area most of her life. Mrs. Parra was a member of the Santa Clara Catholic Church in Central. She is survived by four daughters, Severa Garcia of Central, with who she made her home, Sarah MacDonald of Albuquerque, Natalia Molinar of Central and Margaret Gallegos of West Los Angeles; three sons, Albert Parra of Central, Eloy Parra of West Los Angeles and Lorenzo Parra of Days Creek, Oreg.; and thirteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Macedonio Parra and her youngest son, Mace Parra. Rosary was recited March 28 in the Curtis-Bright Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of the resurrection was celebrated the next day in the Santa Clara Catholic Church. Both services will be under the direction of Rev. Fr. Paul Ragazinskas.
