James W. Bosley, 64, of Hampstead, died Tuesday, March 2, 2010, at Western Maryland Hospital Center in Hagerstown.

Born June 29, 1945, in York, Pa., he was the son of the late Abraham Lincoln and Irma Catherine Keeny Bosley.

He was the husband of Dorothy L. Bull Bosley. He was a 1964 graduate of Hereford High School and served in the Navy during the Vietnam War.

He was a self-employed framing contractor, working with his son and grandson. He was a member of St. Abrahams Lutheran Church, the North Carroll Senior Center in Hampstead, and was a life member of American Legion Post No. 200 in Hampstead. He was an avid Baltimore Ravens and NASCAR fan. He enjoyed watching sports, traveling, calling bingo and spending time with his family.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are son and daughter-in-law Daniel L. and Karen Bosley, of Manchester; daughter and son-in-law Janet and Michael Kelly, of Hampstead; grandchildren Daniel S., Alexandria, Ryan, Matthew and Kelsey Bosley, Kyle and Drew Kelly, and Kyle Dixon; brothers Charles Bosley, of Pylesville and Raymond Bosley, of Manchester; and sisters Pearl Grove, of Seven Valleys, Pa., and Peggy Doster, of Shrewsbury, Pa.

Interment will be in St. Abrahams Cemetery.
