Louise Nicholls, 80, of Decatur died 7:30 p.m. Friday (March 1, 1996) in the Americana Healthcare Center.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Temple Baptist Church. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home and one hour before services in the church. Burial will be in Harristown Cemetery. Memorials: Temple Baptist Church.
Mrs. Nicholls was born in Normal on Feb. 27, 1916, the daughter of Edward and Sylvia Kemp Larrabee . She was a member of Temple Baptist Church. She married Merville Nicholls in 1940 in St. Louis, Mo. He preceded her in death on Aug. 29, 1979.
Surviving are her sons, Merville L. of Fort Wayne, Ind.; Delmar Lee of Grand Rapids, Mich.; James E. of Mansfield, Texas; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother, Vernon Larrabee of Villa Park; sisters, Zola Gowin of Des Plaines; Audrey Newman of Chenoa; Norma Mercer of Stanton, Iowa; Verna Mae Williams of Carol Stream.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and two sisters.
