Funeral services for Mrs. Mattie Kinsolving of Burke were held at 10 a.m. Friday in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Robert B. Porter, Jr. officiated and burial was in Ryan Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Kinsolving died at her residence in Burke Thursday after a brief illness. She was born in Angelina County and had resided at Burke most of her life. She was a retired school, having taught at Central Elementary in Lufkin for 25 years. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and a member of the Burke Methodist Church.
Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Ina McCall, Mrs. A. L. Burke and Mrs. C. E. Brazil; two brothers, H. S. McCall and Dr. C. D. McCall; nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Dan Brazil, Ward Burke, Dr. John Barrett, Eugene Frost, Dr. W. D. Thames, James Burke, Tom Treadwell and B. E. McCall.
