Carole L. Marincic, 73, of Peru died at 2:20 P.M. Feb. 27, 2010, in Illinois Valley Community Hospital, Peru.
Mass of Christian burial will be at noon Saturday in St. Patrick's Catholic Church, La Salle. The Rev. Robert Rayson will officiate. Burial will be at St. Vincent's Cemetery, La Salle.
Visitation will be 10-11:30 a.m. Saturday in Shimkus-Helmer-Staab Funeral Home, La Salle.
Mrs. Marincic was born Nov. 2, 1936, in Ottawa to Ernest Lewis and Etta Mae (Roberts) Smithson. She married Lincoln W. Marincic on July 11, 1955, in St. Roch's Catholic Church, La Salle.
She worked as a pharmacy assistant at Corbus Drug, Kunkel Drug and as a clerk at Debo Hardware. She was a member of Illinois Valley Craft Club and coordinator of the Illinois Valley beauty pageant.
Survivors include her husband, Lincoln Marincic of Peru; two sons, and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and one brother.
