Mrs. Elmer J. Lipton of Preemption and Mrs. Bert Denning of near Buffalo Prairie were called to McAllen, Texas last week by the death on Thursday of their sister, Mrs. Grace Taylor, age 51.
Mrs. Taylor was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel F. Burrows of Duncan. She was a graduate of the Aledo High School and a Mercer county teacher for several years prior to her marriage to Prof. Fred N. Taylor, who for 17 years was the superintendent of the Aledo schools.
Mrs. Taylor is survived by her husband; a married daughter in San Antonio, Texas; and two sons at home. Funeral services were held and interment was made at McAllen.
