---Mrs. Ada Florence Horrell, 74, of Novinger, died Tuesday evening in a Kirksville hospital.
---Mrs. Horrell was the daughter of Robert and Catherine Shumaker Allen and was born May 13, 1882, in Macon county, Mo. She was first married to Lon Shoemaker, in Macon county, and to this marriage 3 children were born. Mrs. Shoemaker preceding in death in 1948. Later on Jan. 12, 1953, she was married to Ace Horrell, at Novinger.
---She is survived by her husband; one son, Leonard Shoemaker, Greencastle, Mo.; a daughter, Mrs. Tom (Dessie) Hamil, Madrid, Ia.; three brothers, Henry Allen, Onita, Ill., William Allen, La Plata, Mo., and Ben Allen, Higbee, Mo.; a sister, Mrs. Tina Reynolds, Ft. Madison, Ia.; five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, and two brothers.
---Mrs. Horrell was a member of the Methodist Church, at Novinger, and had made her home in the Novinger community for many years.
---The body will lie in state at the Dee Riley Funeral Home, and funeral arrangements will be announced later.
