This is my great-grandfather. I am so blessed to remember him and for him not to have passed till I was 12. He was such a nice man, and I always remember having so much fun anytime I was around him. Easy to smile, fun to play with, always joking and playing with me. He fought in WWI, and was a Sheriffs Deputy in Victoria County. And one of only two great-grandparents of mine that I ever knew. It sure doesn't seem like so long since he passed and I've really missed him over the years. He was a really good man, and it shows in his picture.
