Joseph Harry Shelton, age 82, passed away August 19, 1992.

He was born January 20, 1910 in American Fork, Utah to Joseph Richard and Ida May Pulley Shelton. He married Caroline Mable Fullmer April 16, 1934 in Salt Lake City; marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Harry was a member of the LDS Church, and served as a stake mission president and as president of the Seventy's. He owned and operated Shelton Meat Co. and Keeley's Cafe. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. He quietly gave service and support to those in need. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by six children, David F. (Nadine) Shelton, Woodland; Carolyn (Loren) Beckstead, Sandy; Donna (Lawerence) Stewart, St. George; Robert H. (Elizabeth) Shelton, Sandy; Mary Jane (Gary) Lenzi, Arizona; Ruth Ann (Gary) Saxon, Bennion; 27 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; five brothers and sisters, Dora Williams; William Shelton; Ellen Gardner; Kenneth Shelton; and Lavon Scott.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 22, 1992, 12 noon, in the Sandy Granite South Stake Center, 2130 East 10000 South. Friends may call Friday 7-9 p.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 255 South 200 East, and Saturday, 10:45-11:45 a.m. at the ward.
Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
