Marjorie Thomason Scott, 95, passed away February 27, 2010 in DeFuniak Springs, Florida. She was born June 4, 1914, in Walton County and lived in DeFuniak Springs for most of her life. She taught elementary school in Walton County for 44 years and was a member of the Walton County Retired Educators and Delta Kappa Gamma. She was a life-long member of the Sandy Creek Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Clark Scott; parents, D.E. and Aubrey Thomason and brother, Glen Thomason. She is survived by a daughter and a son, one grandson, four sisters; her sisters- in –law, and by a host of nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews. A time of visitation will ne held 1:00~2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel, 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at Clary Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dan Padgett officiating. Burial will follow in the Sandy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Donation may be made to the Sandy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, c/o Gary Scott, C.P.A., 1554 Government Street, Ponce de Leon, Florida 32455.
