Luzon Casto, 88, of Orrville, Ohio formerly of Nitro, WV died Tuesday October 19, 2000, at the home of his daughter, Charlene Hinkle of Orrville, after a long illness.

He was a native of Jackson County, WV and a three-month resident of Orrville, a graduate of Glenville State College and Marshall University. He was a retired educator, principal, former school superintendent in Jackson County schools and a former Kanawha County school principal with 42 years of service, a former Kanawha County real estate agent, a member of First Presbyterian Church, Nitro, and a veteran of World War II.

Also surviving: daughter, Brenda White of Williamsburg, VA.; a step-daughter, Nancy Nease of Poca, WV; step-sons, John Hastings of Tampa, Fla., Dick Hastings of South Carolinia; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

Service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Cooke Funeral Home, Nitro with the Rev. Kenneth King officiating. Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery, Kentuck.
