Helen Elmira Barnson Davis Reynolds, 75, beloved companion, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away May 14, 1995, at her home in Circleville, Utah.
She was born August 22, 1919, in Junction, Utah, to John M. and Amy Brinkerhoff Barnson. They were a family of eight children and all preceded her in death.
She married Leon S. Davis on April 1, 1937. The marriage was solemnized June 14, 1963, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death April 28, 1983. She married J.T. "Tink" Reynolds on June 10, 1984, in Ogden, Utah.
Helen was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed decorating for weddings and arranging flowers. She was a wonderful cook and homemaker and devoted her life to her family and in helping others. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her greatest joy.
She was active in the LDS Church, serving in the Relief Society, Primary and Sunday school.
She is survived by her husband Tink of Circleville; daughters, Jerrie (Audun) Seljaas of Bountiful and Peggy (Jim) DuBray of Billings, Mont.; stepsons, Warren (JoAnne) Reynolds of South Weber and Max (Patsy) Reynolds of Roy; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and numerous step grandchildren whom she loved as her own.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 18, 1995, at 1 p.m. in the Circleville 1st LDS Ward Chapel, where friends may call Thursday from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Graveside services and interment will be held Friday, May 19, 1995, at 11 a.m. in the Centerville Cemetery. Funeral directors, Neal S. Magleby & Sons, Richfield, Utah.
The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to the staff of Garfield Memorial Hospital Home Health for their endless hours of service and care.
