Roy Martin Dinwiddie, a 35-year resident of Arizona, died in Tucson, Ariz., at the VA hospital on Jan. 26, 2010. He moved to Benson in August 2009, when his son bought the HorseShoe Cafe.
Roy was Born Jan. 16, 1937, in LeBonan, Mo. to Elko and Grace Dinwiddie. He was a machinist, welder, draftsman, tool and dye maker. He belonged to International Brotherhood of Pulp, Sulphite and Paper Mill Workers Local Union No. 510. Roy was a pilot, and in the Air Force.
He leaves behind two sisters, a brother, four sons, five granddaughters, two grandsons, and a great-grandson and two more greats on the way and many nieces and nephews.
Services for Roy will be Feb. 17, at 2 p.m., at 1300 Buffalo Soldier Trail in Sierra Vista, Ariz."
