Elizabeth Waits Mordecai
Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Waits Mordecai, 80, of Eupora were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.
She died April 28, 2007 at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Eupora.
Oliver Funeral Home handled arrangements.

Elizabeth Waits Mordecai, 80, of Eupora died April 28, 2007, at North Mississippi Medical Center-Eupora.
A homemaker, she was born Oct. 3, 1926, in Webster County. She was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Mickey Waits Mordecai and Rickey Samuel Mordecai of Eupora; one sister, Mozelle Waits Murphy of Eupora; two sisters-in-law, Miriam Caffey and Ruby Mordecai; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Vernon Mordecai, in 1962.
Services were May 1 at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church with the Rev. Dale Strickland officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers were Bill Dean, Chris Easterwood, Douglas Ingram, David Murphy, Michael Waits and Wood Waits.
Oliver Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
