Mrs. Abbie C. Melzer, 81, a resident of Moro for the last eight years and before that a resident of Salem for several years, died Friday morning at the hospital. She was born November 3, 1899 at Wasco.
Survivors include three sons, Vernon, Wasco; Millard and Wayne, both of Moro; two sisters, Bessie Cross, Santa Monica, California; and Grace Mortenson, Helena, Montana. 13 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services were Monday at 2pm at the Moro Community Presbyterian Church with Rev. Angus Crocker officiating. Vault entombment was at Rose Cemetery in Moro.
