Jeanette (Kozey) Mitchell, 71, formerly of Superior, died Tuesday, July 6, 1999, in Houston, Texas. She was born July 28, 1927, in Superior and was graduated from the former Superior Central High School.
After graduation she moved to Washington, D.C. where she was employed during the war. She was married there to Billy Mitchell. They later moved to Houston.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Bishop, Houston; two grandsons, three sisters, Frances Adolphson, Superior, and Leana Johnson and Dorothy Blix, both of Duluth, and several nieces and nephews locally.
She was preceded in death by her husband. A graveside service was held on July 8 at the Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery in Houston.
