Elma A. Delk went to be with the Lord Sunday evening, February 14, 2010 at Ball Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. She was 93.
She was born December 29, 1916 in Jamestown, TN the daughter of Wolford and Millie (Lacy) Hull, attended schools in that area and moved to Muncie in 1941.
Surviving are her husband of sixty-six years, Bennie; a daughter, Kay Swift (husband-Daniel), Muncie; a son, Ben Delk (wife-Elizabeth), Muncie; eight grandchildren, Kim Minniear (husband-Steve), Tammy Laudicina (husband-Scott), Angie Bartholome (husband-Murray), Kelly Stanley (husband-Doug), Jason Delk (wife-Melissa), Daniel Swift, Jr. (wife-Beth), Kara Brown (husband-Gary), and Kisha Swift; thirteen great-grandchildren; a brother, Herbert Hull (wife-Helen), Jamestown, TN; a sister, Claris Upchurch (husband-Cecil), Muncie; a sister-in-law, Faye Hull, Jamestown, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Odis and Justin Hull; and an infant sister, Geneva Hull.
Private family services were held, with burial in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, north of Muncie.
