Esther Louise Bills, 86 of Orange, Texas passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2006 at the Continue Care Hospital of Southeast Texas in Orange.
Born on December 1, 1919 in Tipton, Indiana to Edgar and Minnie (Manlove) Griggs. Esther had resided in the Orange area for over 30 years after living in Tipton. She had worked as a dietician for a local nursing home and had attended the Hartburg Baptist Church.
Esther was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Eugene D. Bills and her daughter, Wanda Louise Wilson. She is survived by her sons, Fred Bills of Orange, Texas and Paul Bills of New Caney, Texas. Daughters Serena Bills Evard of Chamette, Michigan. Also surviving are a brother Wiley Griggs of Kokomo and a sister Barbara Spivey of Tipton. Several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren also survive.
Calling will be on September 7, 2006 from 1 PM to 3 PM with funeral services held at 3 PM. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Tipton. Rev. Janice Watson-Burns will officiate.
