In 1930 he and his parents and sister lived on a farm they owned on Route 68 in Toby Township, Clarion County, PA. They did not have a radio.

In 1940 he, his parents, his two siblings, a farm laborer, 30-year-old Charles Detwiler, and a lodger, 73-year-old John F Craig, lived on probably the same farm, which was valued at $3000.

In 1950 he and his parents and brother lived on probably the same farm. Mark worked as a ground man for a contract electric line company.

Mark Stewart McCall, 80, of Rimersburg, died at the Intensive Care Unit of Clarion Hospital in Paint Township.

Born in Toby Township, he was the son of Paul V. and Mary F. (Hillis) McCall.

On September 24, 1954, he married Norine S. Saylor. She survives.

He served stateside in the U.S. Army with the Military Police from 1950 to 1952 during the Korean Conflict.

Mr. McCall was a barber for 46 years, retiring April 28, 1960. He was also employed in the maintenance department with Clarion University 26 of those barbering years.

He was a member of the Shearer Shick American Legion Post No. 7076 in Rimersburg and a member of the Callensburg Church of God.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Ann Kathryn McCall of Rimersburg and Mrs. Randy E. (Amy Leigh) Evans of New Bethlehem; a granddaughter, Ryleigh Kathryn Evans of New Bethlehem; a sister, Mrs. John Paul (Marian Elaine) Knapp of Clarion; and a brother, Frank R. McCall and his wife, Margie, of Callensburg.

Military honors were accorded by the Rimersburg VFW and American Legion Ceremonial Squad at the cemetery. Burial was on May 21,2009.
