Mrs. Ola Carver
Ola Carver, 100, Route 6, Dry Hollow Rd. died at 4 a.m. Nov. 4th in the Kingsport Manor Nursing Home.
Born in Mitchell County, N.C. she had lived in Kingsport since 1925. Mrs. Carver was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church. She was the widow of Aden Carver.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Ed (Myrtle) Smith, Kingsport; three sons, Briscoe and Bill Carver both of Kingsport and Fred Carver Ft. Blackmore, Va. 32 grandchildren 76 great-grandchildren and 26 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in the chapel at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral home. The Rev. Junior Parker, Rev. Carson Barnett, and the Rev. John Pierson officiating. Burial will follow in the Morrison Chapel Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
