Salt Lake Telegram on December 14, 1943. William Henry Black, 63, 419 East Second South Street, died in a Salt Lake hospital Monday at 10:30 a.m. of uremic poisoning.

Mr. Black was born at Kanosh, on May 7, 1880, a son of John and Jane Paxton Black. He married Edna B. Black at Beaver in 1904, where he lived until 1925, we he moved to Delta. In 1932 he moved to Eureka and two years later moved to Salt Lake City.

Surviving are his widow; a son, Staff Sergeant William Bonner Black, overseas; four daughters, Mrs. Reveau Osborn, Mrs. Ada Maxfield, Mrs. Ann Daniels, Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Dora Munster, Delta; three brothers, Alfred Black, Salt Lake City; Clark Black, Beaver, and Mitchell Black, Provo; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Jane Leavitt, Richfield, Mrs. Nettie George, Kanosh; Mrs. Annie White, Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Theressa Matthews, Beaver, and eight grandchildren.
