Nashville (TN) Banner, Tues., Dec. 28, 1920, p. 11 (extracted from Hargrove/Hargrave & collateral families research records of Ruth Hasten Walsh)Clarksville, Tenn., De. 28. -- (Special) -- J. C. Hargroves, a well-known famer of the Fourth district, near Jordan Springs, died Friday night, aged 68 years, following an illness of only a few days of pneumonia. His wife and ten children survive him. The body was taken to Trigg county, Ky. (sic - ), his former home, for burial.
