Services were held Monday, December 17th for Bertha H. Sturm at Clearfield United Methodist Church with burial in the Clearfield Cemetery. Mrs. Sturm died Thursday, December 13th at the Wellsville Manor Nursing Home.
She was born January 21, 1902 at Stull, the daughter of August and Willahamine Grinki Lawrenz. She married Dan Sturm on September 4, 1929 at Humboldt. He survives.
Besides her husband survivors include a daughter, Deanna Merrifield, Woodridge, Illinois; two sons, Vernon Sturm, Kansas city and Larry Sturm, Wellsville; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. One son, Jackie Sturm, preceded her in death.
