Houston County Courier--Thursday, September 5, 1963 Mrs. Mollie Speer, 79 of Lovelady died in a Trinity Hospital Tuesday, August 27. Mrs. Speer was born in Houston County, August 3, 1884, and was a member of the Church of Christ. Funeral Services were held at 4 p.m. August 28, in the Lovelady Church of Christ with Mr. Dalton Graves officiating.
Burial was in the Lovelady Cemetery. Pallbearer's were E. A. Gregg, Edgar Lewis, Joe Lane, J. J. Shaw, Cecil Roe and Bill Maxwell.
Survivors include the husband, Austin T. Speer of Lovelady; a daughter Mrs. Alma Wilson of Huntsville, two brothers, John H. Shaw of Lovelady and Hoyt Shaw of Fort Worth, a sister, Mrs J. B. Allen of Lovelady.
