Mr. David E. Mackey,of Waldron, Arkansas, died Thursday, February 25, 2010, at his home in Waldron. Mr. Mackey was 51 years, 7 months, and 7 days old. He was the son of the late Gene and Lillie Cossey.

Mr. Mackey was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister: Francis Mackey.
He is survived by five brothers: Jimmy Mickey, of Waldron, Arkansas, Tommy Mackey and his wife: Donna, of Seminole, Oklahoma, Darrel Mackey and his wife: Melinda, of Konawa, Oklahoma, Ronnie Mackey and his wife: Sandra, of Stratford, Oklahoma, and Eldon Mackey and his wife: Jusy, of Noble, Oklahoma; a sister: Geraldine Young, of Ada, Oklahoma; other relatives; and a host of friends.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, February 27, 2010, at the Ouachita Mountains Missionary Baptist Church. Mr. Mackey was laid to rest at Hawkins Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Dewey Fain, Stephen Fain, James Alderman, Dale Thompkins, Rick Davis and Russell Davis.
