James "Ansel" Ferrell (MY GREAT-GREAT GRANDFATHER) was married prior to his marriage to Soleta Revels.
Second marriage to Soleta Elizabeth Revels (MY GREAT-GREAT GRANDMOTHER) 27 July 1853 Soleta was born in 1833 in Ga.

Their children were;
1. Callie Fornia b. 1854 d. 1935 (MY GREAT-GRANDMOTHER)

2. Penelope "Penny" b. 1856 d. 1876 (I have found out she is buried on private property, about 1 mile from the Old Walling Cemetery. Land is now owned by Loye Pennington Walston, died of Typhoid Fever.) I did talk to Loye and she said there was no one buried on her land. NB

3. Margaret b. 1857 d. unk Ga.

4. Mekey b. 1859 d. 1876 (I have found out she is buried on private property, about 1 mile from the Old Walling Cemetery. Land is now owned by Loye Pennington Walston, died of Typhoid Fever.) I did talk to Loye and she said there was no one buried on her land. NB

5. Morgan b. 1861 d. 1874 Jasper Co, Tx.
6. John Stallion b. 1864 d. 1950 Age 86 yrs.
7. Walker Soleta b. 1866 d. 1908
Soleta Revels Ferrell died March 20, 1866 childbirth of Walker Soleta Ferrell.

1860 Census shows her to be living in Woodville, Tyler Co, Texas with her family.
She died March 20, 1866. I believe she may be buried there.

Jobe Revels, her father chased Indians across the Mississippi River, found a beef the Indians had killed, took one of its horns and made a blow horn out of it. IT WAS DATED 1825. My great aunt Soleta "Letie" Walling Bean had the horn in her house until she died in 1979
at age 98 years. Letie was her granddaughter. Daughter of her daughter Callie Fornia Ferrell Walling. Named Soleta Elizabeth after her grandmother.
