Leroy D. Welch died at his home in Mainesburg December 24th. The funeral was held Thursday afternoon, December 28th, at one o'clock, Rev. Mr. Johnstone, of the State Road Baptist churc, officiating; burial in the State Road cemetery. Mr. Welch was born in Mainesburg, November 22, 1849, and is survived by his wife, Mrs. Leroy D. Welch; by two sons, D. D. Welch, of Mansfield; F. M. Welch, of Mainesburg; one brother, Gilbert, of Elmira, and by four sisters, Mrs. Martin V. Mudge, of Mansfield; Mrs. Rosilla Baity, Mrs. Geo. Watson and Mrs. James Hendricks, all of Covington.
