C. Howard Moore, 88, of Pensacola, died Thursday, February 25, 2010 at home.
Mr. Moore was born October 10, 1921 in Emerson, Arkansas to Finis Howard Moore and Corrie Daley Moore. He served in the U. S. Army during World War II. Mr. Moore retired from Metropolitan Life Insurance Company after 30 years of service. He was a member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church. Mr. Moore was a 32nd Degree Mason and a past member of the Lion's Club.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Moore.
Survivors include his sons, David H. Moore and wife, Mary Ellen, of Santa Rosa Beach, FL and Bob Moore and wife, Maria, of Orange Beach, AL; daughters, Jo Ellen Chilton and husband, Ron, of Pensacola and Sharon Zimring and husband, Dave, of St. Petersburg, FL; six grandchildren, Keith, Ashley, Sabrina, Ryan, Rachel and Lauren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 28, 2010 at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel with Reverend John Shortman officiating.
Interment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation, 322 Eighth Avenue, 7th Floor, New York, NY 10001.
