Peter was a Game Warden in Illinois and later a very successful Insurance Broker for Home Insurance out of Harvey, Illinois and a Real Estate Broker in Harvey and the South Suburban area. He also owned a cottage in Stevensville, MI and later in Long Beach, Indiana.
Peter and his wife lost their son, Gus, to rheumatic fever in 1930. Glykeria died in 1964 and Peter remarried a woman named Stella Bouramas in Chicago. No issue.
Peter was also a strong force in Democratic politics in Cook County and through his nephew, Angelo Geocaris, whom he put through college, a power with Senator Paul Douglas and Robert Kennedy.
