He was born on April 8, 1943 in Stanley and was the son of Ruby Virginia Breeden Rhinehart of Stanley and the late Elmer M. Rhinehart.
Mr. Rhinehart was a graduate of Shenandoah High School. He was a life member of the Shenandoah Moose and the New Market Eages. He retired from Merck after 25 years of service and was also a truck driver for Edwin Huffman.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his former wife, Peggy Rhinehart of Shenandoah; three children, Terri Dovel and husband William of Elkton, Alison Moyers of Shenandoah and Steve Rhinehart and wife Delberta of Grottoes; five grandchildren, Jennifer, Brandon, Jessica, Sara and Dale; and his companion JoAnn Painter of New Market.
Burial in Newport Cemetery in Shenandoah.
