Mrs. Clarence George, 38 years of age, died last Saturday while being brought to the Clearwater Hospital on doctor's orders. She was suffering from a heart ailment ,and a doctor had advised that she be taken to a hospital immediately. She passed away a couple of miles from Bagley.
Mable Grass George was born in Steele County August 20, 1898, and lived there through her childhood, being united in marriage February 19, 1918, at Owatonna. The couple lived there for three years, then three years at Marinette, Wisconsin, another three years at Langdon, North Dakota, and one year at Baudette. For the last eight years they had lived in Clearwater County, three years in Nora Township, and since then in Holst Township.
Besides the Husband there are nine children left to mourn her death; her father and mother , Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Grass of Blooming Prairie, and one brother and two sisters in and near Steele County.
The funeral service was held Wednesday at the Norway Lake Church, with interment in the church cemetery. Rev. Edward Livingston officiated at the service, and arrangements were in charge of the Peterson Funeral Service.
