FELTHEIM, Edward Martin, 86, of Zephyrhills, Fla., passed away Sunday, December 7, 2008, in Tampa. He was born April 4, 1922, in Paxton, Ill., to Martin and Ida (Carlson) Feltheim. Mr. Feltheim had been wintering in Zephyrhills since 1987, and had moved there permanently in 1998. He enjoyed playing golf and was active in Crystal Lake Mobile Home Park Association activities. He also enjoyed Tuesday Gulfside Regional Hospice luncheons and of course his children, grand-children and great-grand-children. Mr. Feltheim was a lieutenant junior grade Merchant Marine and a decorated World War II veteran. He is survived by his children; Jill (Chris) Hendren of Geneva, Ill, Jay (Carol) Feltheim of Overland Park, Kan., and Craig (Bobbie) Feltheim of Tucson, Ariz; eight grandchildren, Scott, Christopher, Katie, Laura, Sean, Emily, Brian and Michael; two great-grandchildren, David and Anna; and a sister, Marian Crowhurst of Morris, Ill. He was predeceased by his wife, Bobbie Feltheim and a brother, Robert Feltheim. Memorial services will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, December 22, 2008, at the Crystal Lake Mobile Home Park Clubhouse, 34749 State Road 54 Zephyrhills, Fla., with Chaplain Denise Hardles of Gulfside Regional Hospice officiating. The family will receive friends 9-10 a.m., prior to the service, at the clubhouse. Interment will take place at 2 p.m. Monday, December 22, at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Fla. The Veterans of Foreign Wars will provide military honors. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Edward's memory to Gulfside Regional Hospice, 6117 Trouble Creek Road, New Port Richey, FL 34653.
