YORK Virginia M. (Allison) Boyer, 81, of Spring Garden Township, died Tuesday at her home. She was the wife of Paul A. Boyer. The couple observed their 59th wedding anniversary June 12.
The service will be 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 700 E. Market St., York. Burial will be in St. Jacob's Union Cemetery in York New Salem. Visitation will be 9 to 10 a.m. Friday at the church. The Olewiler and Heffner Funeral Home Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Boyer was born April 26, 1915, in Glen Rock. She was the daughter of the late Ervin L. and Rebecca (Black) Allison.
She was a material cutter for Danskin Inc., retiring in 1977 after 10 years of service. She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Friendly Seniors of St. Mark's, West Manchester Mall Walkers and Hanover American Association of Retired Persons Chapter 2812.
Mrs. Boyer also is survived by a son, Paul E. Boyer of Park City, Utah; two daughters, Lois R. Roth of York and Jane E. Fox of Gettysburg; and four grandchildren.
Officiating at the service will be her pastor, the Rev. Carl E. Bentz.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 700 E. Market St., York 17403.
