FEBRUARY 9, 1990

Virginia Ellen Harper, 70, died Friday, February 9, 1990, in Parkview Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Kendallville, November 19, 1919 the daughter of Walter William and Minnie (Shook) Barhydt.

Mrs. Harper, a homemaker, had lived in the area 45 years, moving here from Kendallville.

She was married in Kimmell, IN., October 20, 1945, to John Dorsey Harper, who preceded her in death February 3, 1981.

Surviving are three sons, Harold of Wolcottville, Paul E. Sr. and John Dorsey Jr., both of Kendallville; 11 grandchild and 12 great grandchildren.

A sister and two brothers, preceded her in death.

Funeral Services were held Tuesday at 1 p.m. in Five Corners Baptist Church with the Rev. Leburn Combs and the Rev. Carldean Merrifield officiating.

Burial was in the Woodland Cemetery in Wolcottville.

The Hutchins Funeral Home of Wolcottville was in charge of the arrangements.
