KENTON - Mrs. Jennie D. Whipp, 80, of 118 S. Leighton in Kenton, died at 10 a.m. Monday at the Hardin County Hospital. She had been ill three months and critical three weeks.
Born Feb. 20, 1882, in Roundhead Township, Hardin County, she was the daughter of Henry Harrison and Ellen Griffin Arbogast. She lived in Hardin County most of her life.
She was married to Edward A. in 1903 who survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Hugh (Mary) Krouskop of Kenton, Mrs. Orville (Vera) Carmean of Hastings, Fla., and Mrs. Arthur (Vivian) Lynch of Plymouth; three brothers, Leroy Arbogast of Bellefontaine, Guy Arbogast of Bellefontaine, and Scott Arbogast of Lima; two sisters, Mrs. Delno Moore of Lakeview and Mrs. Herman Wagner of Wapakoneta; 12 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren; two sons and a daughter are deceased.
She was a member of Epworth Methodist Church and WSCS.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Myrl D. Hull Funeral Home, with Rev. Albert Tomer officiating. Burial will be in Roundhead Cemetery.
