Dolores B. (Gross) Stephens, 65 of Kittanning, died Sunday, June 10, 2001 at Armstrong County Memroial Hospital, East Franklin Township. She was born July 31, 1935 in Oakmont to Frank and Dora (Lemmon) Gross. Mrs. Stephens was retired as a dietitian from the Armstrong County Health Center. She was former head of the St. Mary's cafeteria in Kittanning and head of the Armstrong County Day Care Dietary Program. She was a member of the St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Adrian. Her other membership included the Ladies Auxiliary of Hose Company 1. Survivors include four sons, Carl Stephens Jr., Gene Stephens and Bruce Gray, all of Kittanning and Marty Gray of Kittanning RD3; six grandchildren; and one sister, Pauline Shunk of Oakmont. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carl "Skeets" Stephens who died June 25, 1984; one son, Robert Audley Gray; and two sisters, Maria Runyan and Carolyn Gross. STEPHENS - Friends of Dolores B. (Gross) Stephens, 65, of Kittanning, who died June 10, 2001, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, Inc., 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Arlyn Eisenbrant officiating. Interment will be in Kittanning Cemetery, Kittanning. Arrangments by Snyder-Crissman.
